Armed response police attend Eastwood
ARMED response police attended after reports of men with weapons entering a property in Eastwood.
Officers safely contained the premises on Grosvenor Road at about 1.20am last Wednesday, ensuring that people in neighbouring homes were not at risk.
A police spokeswoman said: “After gaining entry to the property, officers located a cannabis cultivation of around 70 plants.
“A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.”
