Appeal to trace Seat vehicle involved in hit and run

POLICE investigating a hit and run at Warmsworth have appealed for the public’s help.

A 69-year-old cyclist was knocked off his bike — and suffered a broken leg — on Sheffield Road at 4pm on January 21.

The car involved left the scene without stopping.

Police believe it was a black Seat because of a wing mirror found at the scene.

“The collision would have also likely left the vehicle with noticeable damage to its passenger side.
