AN APPEAL has been launched to find a dog who was stolen from a Dearne Valley garden.

Police in Barnsley are hoping to reunite missing pooch Maya with her family after she was stolen from a Thurnscoe garden on Thursday at around 7.30pm.

The bull-cross-whippet is six-months-old and has white fur on the tips of her left front and hind legs and toes. She also has two symmetrical stripes down her front legs.

Do you know where Maya is? If you have any information, call 101 quoting investigation number 14/18939/19.
