Appeal for information after man suffers fractured skull

POLICE investigating an incident in which a man was found unconscious with facial injuries have appeal for help from the public.

Officers said the 44-year-old man had been walking home from Kilnhurst Working Men’s Club, along Wheatley Road.

He was spotted by members of the public, who alerted the ambulance service. His injuries included a fractured eye socket and skull and permanent damage to the sight in his right eye.

The incident happened on Friday, December 21, at about 10pm. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 583 of December 22.
