Appeal for help at Swinton clean-up day

Green-thinking residents are being asked to grab their brushes and gloves for a community clean-up.

The special spring clean will take place at Bow Broom Recreation Ground in Swinton from 10am to 1pm on May 9.

Swinton councillor Ken Wyatt invited as many people as possible to turn up, adding: “This is a community event so lend a hand if you can.”
