Police would like to speak to the man in this CCTV image

A MAN suffered a broken cheekbone and eye socket in an attack outside a pub, police said.

Officers want to speak to a man (pictured above) about the assault near the Horse and Jockey pub on Dale Road, Rawmarsh, on Monday, August 12 just after 12.30am.

"As the pub closed, the victim, a 32 year-old man, was talking to a group of men outside when he was assaulted by one of them," said a police spokeswoman.

"The victim sustained a fractured cheekbone and eye socket."

Anyone who can help with the investigation or who recognises the man in the CCTV stills should call 101, quoting crime reference number 14/122898/19.
