Appeal after biker smashes car windows with crowbar

A BIKER threatened a driver and smashed his car windows with a crowbar while he was parked near Ulley Reservoir in the early hours of the morning.

The 20-year-old man and his friend were parked on a gravelled area on a bend of Reservoir Road, Ulley, at around 1.30am on Friday, May 10, a police spokeswoman said

A man on a dark-coloured motorbike, with a pillion passenger, is said to have driven up to the car, got off the bike, and said something to the victim along the lines of "get out", she added.

He then smashed the driver’s side windows with a crowbar.

The victim drove away and the biker followed him for a short distance, said the spokeswoman. No-one was injured.

The motorbike rider is described as white, in his 20s, with a wide nose and a deep voice.

Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or who saw a bike matching that description.

If you have any information that could help, please call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously quoting incident 14/73977/19.
