The Scarlet pimpernel ..... They seek him here, they seek him there.
During the build up to the forth coming elections, has anyone actually seen their current MP going around knocking on doors, meeting and greeting their constituents and doing local electioneering?
Or is it such a done deal that they feel that such a task isn’t necessary. As a resident of Maltby I have spoken to people I’ve come into contact with and asked them a simple question.
“During the election campaign have you seen your local MP Kevin Barron out on the street knocking on doors, or stool chatting to members of the public on the High Street or other public areas?”
Surprisingly the answer I’m getting is no we have not seen him, he’s as elusive as the Scarlet Pimpernel.
