Antique jewellery taken in heritage centre ram raid

Security staff at the centre reported that a silver Volkswagen was used to ram the gates of the site at 12.22am on Sunday, July 18, a police spokesperson said.

The thieves forced entry to one of the buildings and stole a large silver and green safe, the spokesperson said.

The safe contained distinctive, antique jewellery, including the pieces pictured above.
