Animal charity appealing for helpers

ANIMAL charity the PDSA is appealing for some helping hands to volunteer on Saturdays at its Mexborough store to help sick and injured pets.

The High Street store raises funds help provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment.

Store manager Sharon Pell said: “We need fun, enthusiastic people to lend a hand, helping out in the store by sorting stock, merchandising and serving customers.

“It is a fantastic way to meet new people and a great opportunity to improve your CV.”

Sharon also appealed for fresh donations of clothing, books and accessories, which can be taken to the store from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5pm.
