Ambulance called after Swinton crash

AN ambulance was called after a rush-hour crash at a notorious junction in Swinton.

The accident happened at the junction of Queen Street and Station Street at 3.50pm this afternoon.

A blue Skoda Octavia was involved in the incident in which it collided with roadside bollards.

An ambulance was called but police said no-one was injured in the accident.

Campaigners have recently called for extra safety measures at the junction following a series of accidents.
