Alternative Christmas market promises Gothic gifts

MISTRESSES (and masters) of the dark will find freaky festive cheer at a market with a Gothic twist.

An Alternative Christmas Market will make its first appearance at 1915 Bar and Bistro this Saturday.

The bizarre bazaar is a joint effort by art collective The Sorting Office and town centre traders Mysticum Luna, which specialises in occult-themed clothing and jewellery.

Other indie businesses will be selling at the event, which will also include music, live entertainment and art workshops.

Expect to find Christmas gifts from Kurb Krusher skateboards, Holy Ghost Tattoo Collective and Galaxy Gaming.

The market will be open at the Domine Lane venue from 11am until late.
