Allotments fire at Maltby

A BLAZE on allotments at Maltby was accidental, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed.

Crews from Edlington and Aston stations attended Highfield Park just before 8.30pm yesterday (Wednesday), and were there until 9.50pm.

There were also accidental fires involving rubbish on Broom Lane at 8.15pm and an outbuilding on Laughton Road in Dinnington at about 10pm.
