Aldwarke Lane closed yet again after lorry hits bridge

A ROAD is currently closed after a lorry has hit a bridge notorious for causing blockages, South Yorkshire Police has confirmed.

Officers tweeted about the incident on the A6123 at Aldwarke Lane, near Parkgate,  at around 12.50pm today (Monday).

They confirmed the collision has caused damage - with traffic building up - and have asked motorists to avoid the area where possible.
