Air ambulance called after person fell from tree
PARAMEDICS and an air ambulance were summoned after someone fell from a tree in Clifton.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) attended an undisclosed street in the area at around 5.11pm on Wednesday.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was spotted on the pitch at Rotherham Titans’ Clifton Lane ground shortly before 6pm.

Hide AdBut the aircraft was not needed, as the patient went to hospital by road, a YAS spokeswoman said.
She added: “A call came in at 5.11pm and we attended a private address where a patient had fallen from a tree.
“The air ambulance did attend, but the patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance.”
The spokeswoman declined to give any further details about the incident, its location or the patient’s condition.
