The National Autistic Society's Robert Ogden School played host to African visitors who entertained pupils with a performance and workshops.

The event was part of the school's Community Week which culminated in an autumn fair

featuring a raffle, tombola and nail painting. Youngsters also enjoyed a range of stalls, games and refreshments.

Gillian Roberts, principal of the Robert Ogden School, said: "The Robert Ogden School has always been very lucky to be well supported by the community, family and friends.

"All the money raised will go towards developing the school further to benefit pupils with autism."

The school in Thurnscoe is the largest school for children with autism in the UK.
