The Lifewise Centre, Bramley

SAFETY advice for the over-60s will be available at an event taking place on Tuesday.

The Lifewise Centre is celebrating National Older People’s Day by holding an interactive information event for the over-60s.

The day will cover information such as fraud prevention, online safety, road safety and fire safety.

It will provide advice on the Herbert Protocol, a system designed to help the police get access to information about people with dementia when they go missing.

South Yorkshrie Police, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership and NatWest Bank will be giving advice at the event.

The event will take place at The Lifewise Centre on Kea Park Close, Bramley, between 10am and 2.30pm.

There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be included.

Places are limited and can be booked by contacting Lifewise on 01709 832455 or emailing Lifewise.booking@southyorks.pnn.police.uk
