Advice on offer at Maltby event

OLDER people in Rotherham who need a helping hand are set for a boost thanks to a special event packed with advice and support.

The event, which is designed to help the town’s older population feel safer, will be taking place on Thursday, February 20, between 10am and 2pm at Maltby Fire Station.

Organisations attending the event include South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, South Yorkshire Police, Living Streets, Protective Behaviours UK, AgeUK Rotherham, St John Ambulance and Trading Standards.

Visitors will be able to collect a free goody bag containing essential information.
