Activate Rawmarsh music group on song after windfall from Rotherham Round Table

A SOCIAL group with a big heart has boosted a project helping children make the most of their musical talents.

Rotherham Round Table’s £250 donation certainly hit the right note with Activate Rawmarsh.

Members attended one Activate’s School of Rock sessions to see the work volunteers are doing with promising kids.

Activate has been going almost 18 years and is based at the High Street Centre in Rawmarsh.

More than 20 volunteers put on activities for children and young people aged four to 19.
