Accidental fire involving conifers at North Anston

TREES, grass and rubbish were affected by fires overnight.

Conifers were damaged in an accidental fire shortly after 8pm at Nursery Road in North Anston.

Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended, leaving the scene at 8.55pm.

The same station responded to a deliberate grass fire at 8.20pm on Boston Castle Grove at Moorgate. The crew left the scene at 9.10pm.

Rotherham station firefighters dealt with a deliberate rubbish blaze at 6.45am today on Canklow Road at Canklow. They were there just over half an hour.
