Accidental car fire at Holmes

FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a vehicle blaze at Holmes in the early hours of today (Wednesday).

A Rotherham station crew attended the Vauxhall Corsa on Steel Street shortly after 1am.

They were there for about 40 minutes and the blaze was recorded as accidental.

Meanwhile, a wheelie bin was deliberately set alight on Muglet Lane, Maltby, at about 8.30pm yesterday.

And firefighters also dealt with a rubbish fire at Carr Lane in Ulley shortly before 9pm.
