A57 closed in both directions at Todwick after serious collision
POLICE are expecting the A57 at Todwick to be closed "for some time" after a serious road traffic collision.
The road was closed this afternoon (Tuesday) after an accident near the Red Lion pub, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.
"The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to be closed for some time," she added.
"While we deal with this incident, drivers are advised to take alternative routes and expect traffic delays."
