A taste of summer to return - but not for long
ROTHERHAM could be in line for another mini heatwave with temperatures of up to 27°C later this week — but the warm weather could lead to thunderstorms, forecasters have warned.
Early cloud will clear on Wednesday to leave a dry, bright day with temperatures rising to 23 °C, the Met Office said.
It will be mostly dry overnight with some patchy drizzle in places but temperatures are expected to reach 27°C on Thursday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ warning for rain, with up to 30mm of rain possible in just an hour, on Thursday evening.
