A night full of soul

MUSIC from Al Green, Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd, Booker T and Stevie Wonder is sure to get toes tapping and fingers clicking at a soul show later this month.

Barnsley-based Soul Jam pledge to play soul in its truest form with a set full of the genre’s biggest hits and interactive screen content to help tell the story behind the music.

Formed in 2010, The Soul Jam are comprised largely of music teachers from the Yorkshire area, who are also accomplished musicians and seasoned performers.

Their latest show, Vinyl Revival Side 2, is at The Civic in Barnsley on Saturday July 16 at 8pm. Tickets are £10.
