A LEVELS: Top marks for Brinsworth and Dinnington students

STAR students from Brinsworth and Dinnington are looking ahead to university after landing great A level grades.

Among the top achievers picking up their results at Brinsworth Academy today were Connor Gillam who achieved four A*s, Emily Horst (two A*s and two As), Cameron Halliwell (four As), Joe Ellis, Joe Woodcock, Alex Clarke (three As), Cara Egan (one A*, one A and one B and Charlotte Ellis (two As and a B). 

Vocational high achievers included Jack Ellis (Dist*/Dist), Sehr Rashid (Dist*/Dist), Kayleigh Payne (three A*s), Emily Hardwick (three As), Zenab Kauser (three As) and Evie Smith (Dist*).

Associate Principal John Naylor said "We are delighted with our A-Level results this year and are immensely proud all of our students.”

Dinnington High School students’ impressive results included 100 per cent of students studying our engineering and performing arts courses received Distinction and Distinction*.

The best performing students included Kyle Cotton with two A*s and two As,   Courtney Briggs with A grades in English language and biology and Distinction* in business and Danielle Smith with three A*s.

Principal Rebecca Staples said: “We are hugely proud of our fantastic students’ achievements, particularly given it is a time of great change in post-16 qualifications.”
