999 response over 'concern for man's safety'

SEVERAL emergency vehicles were dispatched after concerns were raised about a man's safety.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing several police cars and ambulances in the car park outside the Brecks pub and Sainsbury's Local store on Bawtry Road, Brecks, on Tuesday afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police responded to a report of a concern for safety for a man at an address in Bawtry Road, Brecks, at around 3:30pm on Tuesday.

"Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 60s was taken to hospital via ambulance."
