4x4 crashes into cottage
A RANGE Rover ended up on its side against a cottage in the early hours after leaving the road and crashing through a wall.
The occupant of the cottage in Doncaster Road, Hickleton, a man thought to be in his 50s, was woken by the collision at around 4.20am yesterday.
A fire service spokesman said: “There was no major damage to the property and the man was not injured.
“Paramedics checked over the driver of the Range Rover but he didn’t attend hospital.”
Fire crews from Adwick and Dearne stations made the scene safe.
