350 drop in for tea with Rotherham couple

Syd and Liz Moyle, of Moorgate, organised the “cake break” for the local branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Sheffield’s Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress, Graham and Irene Oxley, supported the event, hosting it in their Lord Mayor’s Parlour.

Rotherham’s Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Shaukat Ali and Wajida Naseem,  joined them at the event.

Branch committee member Syd said: “We estimate about 350 people attended over the three hours we were there.

“Our sincere thanks must go to all who helped and supported us."
