30 new jobs as Golden Ball reopens
A ROTHERHAM pub is set to re-open its doors and create 30 new jobs following a renovation project.
The Golden Ball in Whiston will be back in business on Monday after a programme of refurbishment including a kitchen extension and landscape gardening.
The work has resulted in the creation of 30 new jobs; 20 front-of-house staff and 10 kitchen hands.
New landlady Lesley Hughes said: ”We'll have a clean, contemporary look, but it will be a loving and tasteful restoration in keeping with the character of a magnificent old building.”
