WHILE many Rotherham residents were tucked up safely in their beds hard-core supporters of a children's charity took to the streets for a fund-raising sleepout.

SAFE@Last held its annual Big Sleepout on Friday when more than 200 dedicated supporters grabbed a sleeping bag and flask and bedded down for the night at Parkgate shopping.

It was the third year in a row that the charity, which supports young runaways, hosted the event which last year raised more than £14,000.
