HUNDREDS of people gathered at Clifton Park bandstand on Saturday to celebrate the life of murdered MP Jo Cox.

The picnic coincided with other Great Get Together events around the country, at which people shared food and enjoyed music.

Cllr Eve Rose Keenan, Mayor of Rotherham and Sarah Champion MP both addressed the crowd and a minute's silence was observed.
