VIDEO: £100k National Lottery win for grandmother

FINANCE officer Janet Stones will enjoy number crunching her latest pay cheque after scooping £100,000 on the National Lottery.

The 52-year-old from Kimberworth was home alone last Saturday when she played a new online Lottery game.

After spending just £1 on the £100k Red Instant Win Game - an online scratch card - she could not believe her eyes when she revealed three £100,000 signs.

She said: “I was a quivering wreck.

“I couldn’t believe it when the screen message popped up at the end of the game to say that I’d won £100,000.”

The £100k Red Instant Win Game had only been operating for a week when Janet won.

She is the second £100k winner after another lucky player in Leeds also hit the jackpot.

The win has turned Janet and her partner Richie's fortune around after he lost his job in May.
