Two Thurcroft deliberate fires in under an hour

FIREFIGHTERS were called to two deliberate fires in 40 minutes at Thurcroft.

A wheelie bin was set alight on Katherine Road at 8.05pm yesterday (Sunday) and the crew was there for 15 minutes.

Firefighters were then called to a transit van on fire at 8.45pm on Steadfolds Lane.

They were at the scene until 9.35pm.

A vehicle fire at Milton Road in Mexborough on Friday night was caused by a faulty interior light.

And a Toyota Corolla was set alight at Plantation Court, Dinnington, at 10pm on Friday, damaging another vehicle.
