Two arrested over Tommy Ward murder

The pair, aged 30 and 35, were being questioned by detectives on Wednesday morning.

It followed warrants being executed in Aston, Ulley and Wales in Rotherham and Hackenthorpe and Stradbroke in Sheffield.

Ex-soldier Tommy was found with serious injuries at his home on Salisbury Road on October 1 last year. His £30,000 life savings were stolen in the incident.

He died in February after spending almost five months in hospital.
