Tumble dryer fire in Moorgate outhouse
FIREFIGHTERS from three stations attended a tumble dryer blaze in an outhouse at Moorgate.
Crews from Rotherham, Maltby and Parkway went to Brunswick Road at 7.10pm yesterday.
They dealt with the accidental fire in just under an hour.
Also yesterday, there were deliberate fires involving a van on Elgar Drive in Maltby just after 5am, rubbish on Coke Hill, Rotherham, at 8.50pm and a car on Reservoir Road at Ulley at 11pm.
Dearne station was called to a deliberate rubbish blaze on Pit Lane at Wombwell shortly after 5.30am today.
