Tributes to Rotherham woman found dead

MESSAGES of support have flooded in to a son whose mother was found dead just weeks after his birthday.

Joe Mercer, from Rawmarsh, received the wave of tributes to Lisa Mercer over social media on June 14, just 17 days after he turned 23.

Jordan South wrote on Facebook: “Can’t believe it mate, just seen. Sorry for your loss and thoughts are with you and the family.”

Robert White wrote: “So sorry to here about your mum pal if you need owt let me know pal hope your all keeping OK the best you can here for you lovely women.”

An inquest into the death has been adjourned and police are not treating the death as suspicious.
