WEATHER: Travel update (5pm)

MOTORISTS in the south of the borough are advised that the weather is causing gridlocked roads.

The A57 from the M1 to Worksop is blocked and police have advised motorists not to use the route.

Worksop Road in Aston is closed between the Todwick crossroads and Sheffield because of snow.

One lane is closed on the M1 northbound between J31 and J32 because of a broken down lorry.

And the M1 exit slip road is closed southbound at Woodall Services because of ice.
