MOTORISTS escaped uninjured following a two-vehicle collision on the M18 southbound near Bramley this morning, police said.

A BMW hit the central reservation, causing another vehicle to crash into the back of it at around 9.20am between junction 1 Bramley and junction 2 Wadworth (A1M Interchange).

"There are not believed to be any injuries," added a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police.

Highways England Yorkshire said the damaged vehicles had been cleared from the scene, the barrier had been repaired and all lanes were re-opened with traffic flowing again.
