TRAFFIC: Warning to avoid Wickersley and Bramley after accident reports

MOTORISTS are being urged to stay away from the Bramley and Wickersley areas following reports of a crash this afternoon.

South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership said the Bawtry Road area should be avoided.

Bus company First said the X1 service was being diverted via Northfield Lane, Fleming Way and Flanderwell Lane (the X10 route) after an accident at the Masons/Wickersley roundabout.

South Yorkshire Police said the incident had been reported at 3.40pm and was believed to involve one vehicle, with nobody injured.
