M1 crash causes rush hour delays
A CRASH meant rush hour delays on the M1 between Aston and the M18 turn off this morning (Wednesday).
The southbound lanes were closed after a reported three-car collision, leading to queues and diversions.
Highways England tweeted at 9am: “We have started to turn traffic around from the back of both queues (M1 southbound and M18 southbound).
“This is a complex junction so this will take some time to clear those stuck behind the incident. Please await instruction from our traffic officers.”
