Disabled badge abuse costs driver £315
A MAN pleaded guilty by letter to using his wife’s disabled car parking badge illegally.Rotherham magistrates heard that Mohammed Afzal (63) of St Laurence Road, Sheffield, used the badge when parking his Citroen car on Howard Street in Rotherham on Januar
A check by a parking enforcement officer found that the badge belonged to Afzal’s wife.
In a statement, Afzal apologised and claimed it was an error.
He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £150 costs and a victim surcharge of £15.
