The cards, which are now available through Stagecoach, can be presented to the driver to indicate a need for specific assistance.

They are designed to support bus passengers who are deaf, hard of hearing or visually impaired.

Cards can also be presented asking drivers to speak slowly, scan pass, count change, help passengers to their seat and alert passengers when they reach their stop.

For more information or to apply for a Journey Assistance Card visit www.stagecoachbus.com/yorkshire or call 01226 202555.
