Tommy all set for marathon with a difference

FUND-raising favourite Tommy Joyce will lace up his trainers for yet another marathon next week — with every step of the distance completed at the Dearne Valley Weekender office.

The veteran mile-muncher, who has more than 100 marathons under his belt, will take on yet another stamina-sapping challenge next Friday (29) on a treadmill at our High Street HQ — or just outside if the weather is fine.

All proceeds will go to Weston Park Cancer Charity and Tommy is inviting readers to come along from 9.30am and show their support.
