Teenagers in hospital after car hits a tree

THREE teenagers were taken to hospital this morning after their car collided with a tree in Rotherham

The female driver was the most seriously injured, sustaining fractures to her legs after the Vauxhall Corsa hit a tree on Park Hill, Swallownest at around midnight.

Firefighters from Aston Park, Mosborough and Mansfield Road stations released her from the car by removing the roof to release her trapped legs.

A second female teenager was trapped in the back seat and also released by firefighters.

The a male teenager was out of the car when emergency services arrives.

All three were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
