Teenager remanded over rape charges
A TEENAGER from Rotherham accused of two counts of rape has been remanded in custody.
Marc Hastie (19), of Fleming Way, Flanderwell, appeared before Rotherham Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He is accused of two counts of rape, one count of sexual activity with a child, one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one count of possession of indecent images of a child and failing to surrender to police bail.
The charges relate to the alleged sexual abuse of a teenage girl in Rotherham.
Hastie was remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on August 14.
