Tax dodgers in the spotlight

A SPECIAL bus is set to pull into Rotherham next week to highlight how global tax dodging is hurting the poor in the UK and beyond.

The Tax Justice Bus visits the borough on day 48 of its 53-day tour of the UK and Ireland and campaigners, church leaders and Wentworth and Dearne MP John Healey will welcome Christian Aid and Church Action on Poverty’s red double-decker as it stops outside Rotherham Minster between 11am and noon on Wednesday.

Residents are invited to get on board to learn how they can make a difference in the fight for tax justice.

People wanting to find out more about the Tax Justice Bus tour can follow the campaign on Twitter @taxbus2012 and visit the christianaid.org.uk/tax-bus or church-poverty.org.uk/taxbus websites.
