Still time to enter business awards

COMPANIES have been given extra time to bid for glory at the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards.

The deadline for entries for the Chamber of Commerce event has been pushed back until Friday.

The ceremony takes place at Magna on October 21 when 11 prizes will be handed out.

Chamber executive director Andrew Denniff said: “There have already been many superb entries submitted and the deadline extension gives anyone who hasn’t yet entered an excellent chance to do so.

“It’s a golden opportunity to go for glory which is not to be missed.”
