Steam in Swinton: READER PICTURE

THIS picture of steam locomotive The Princess Elizabeth steaming through Swinton station on Saturday was sent in by Andrew Lee.

Andrew (22), from Conisbrough, has recently taken up photographing steam trains and uses www.uksteam.info to find out where the locos will be.

The Princess Elizabeth was on the Yorkshire Coronation tour from Sheffield to Scarborough and back.

It started off as a diesel from Sheffield to Derby and then changed to steam for the trip up to Scarborough.
