Speed cameras on our roads

MOBILE speed cameras will be operated by road safety officers carrying out patrols along the borough’s roads this week.

Officers from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will continue their efforts to reduce casualties on the region’s roads by targeting speeders for a week starting today (4).

Among the locations subject to patrols are: A57, Anston; Doncaster Road, Mexborough; Low Road, Conisbrough; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Wortley Road, Kimberworth; Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley; Doncaster Road, Thrybergh; and Doncaster Road, Conisbrough.

The other roads subject to patrols are: Bawtry Road at Brecks, Brinsworth, Hellaby and Wickersley; Rotherham Road, Maltby; Wales Road, Kiveton Park; Grange Lane, Maltby; Stripe Road, Tickhill; Doncaster Road, Wath; Middle Lane South, Herringthorpe; Pontefract Road, Brampton; Vale Road, Thrybergh; and Worksop Road, Aston.
