Speed camera sites

MOBILE speed cameras will be operated on a dozen of the borough’s busiest roads as part of the ongoing crack-down on speeding motorists.

Members of the team from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will be taking to the streets for a week from Monday (8) as part of ongoing efforts to reduce casualties on the roads by cutting motorists’ speed.

Among the locations subject to patrols are: Rowms Lane, Swinton; Meadow Bank Road, Kimberworth; Wortley Road and Upper Wortley Road, Kimberworth and Thorpe Hesley; and Doncaster Road, Dalton and Thrybergh.
